Status

$health — the pulse check#

GET /api/health — four fields, no credential:

sha is the build commit — dev means not built yet. The nightly gate fails unless the running container carries the commit that was pushed, so health doubles as a deploy receipt.

$live counters#

GET /api/stats — {readers, weekReads}, cache-control: no-store: the live reader count and the week’s page views. The only lane that refuses to be cached — it answers for itself, now.
